As previously reported, Conor Oberst has an upcoming show date at the Greek Theatre on Sunday, October 5th with the very influential American country/folk singer-songwriter, John Prine. There is a presale happening this Friday, May 16th at 10 a.m. (scroll down for password). In 2010 Oberst was one of the modern folk artists selected to work on a very special tribute album released by Oh Boy Records and titled: Broken Hearts and Dirty Windows: The Songs of John Prine. Oberst is set to release his ninth album, Upside Down Mountain which will hit the streets on May 20th via Nonesuch Records. You can stream his entire new album now via NPR.
Tickets to John Prine and Conor Oberst at the Greek Theatre are priced at $29.50 – $59.50 and the show is all-ages. Tickets will go on sale this Saturday, May 17th at 10 a.m.
