sharon van etten are we there album cover

Teasing the release of her forthcoming album, Are We There, out May 27th on Jagjaguwar — Sharon Van Etten has shared a passionate new song, “Your Love Is Killing Me”, as well as a dark new video for “Every Time The Sun Comes Up”. The third track off Van Etten’s new album, “Your Love Is Killing Me” is a powerful rock ballad that starts off very delicate and then climbs into soaring mountain of majestic orchestrations and anthemic vocals. It’s definitely one of the best songs Van Etten has ever made and you can stream it below.

The video for “Your Love Is Killing Me” is quite cinematic with a dark humor. Directed by David Kessler, the video depicts a struggling late-night horror TV host and Sharon Van Etten stuck in a T.V. as a cartoon character. It’s a sadfully beautiful song. You can watch the video below.
