Death From Above 1979 (DFA 1979) are streaming their entire new album, The Physical World  one week before its Sept. 9th release date! Just a couple weeks ago, DFA 1979 played a very special one-off show at the Troubadour as a warm-up for the band’s extensive European and U.S. headlining tour dates. The band will also play a special show at Rough Trade Records (on sale Friday, Sept. 5 at 12pm) in Brooklyn on Sept. 8th. In addition, DFA 1979 will perform their current single “Trainwreck 1979” on The Late Show with David Letterman on Sept. 10th.

The band will begin touring on Sept. 6th in support of their new album, The Physical World, which is set for release on Sept. 9 via Last Gang Records / Warner Bros. Records. But before they do so, DFA 1979 have gifted fans with a full album stream of their new records. Fans can stream DFA 1979’s new record starting today for an entire week before its release date.

Produced by D. Sardy (Red Hot Chili Peppers, LCD Soundsystem, Wolfmother, Oasis), The Physical World comes a full ten years after the release of the band’s universally acclaimed debut album, You’re A Woman, I’m A Machine, which made Jesse F. Keeler (bass, synths, backing vocals) and Sebastien Grainger (vocals and drums), an underground/overground sensation.

Stream DFA 1979’s new album The Physical Word via iTunes!
