Los Angeles psych rocker, Vinyl Williams has shared a dreamy new song “Space Age Utopia.” The single is the second to be shared from his forthcoming new album, Into. While Williams’ 2012 debut LP Lemniscate had us pleasantly lost in a spiritually-charged shoegaze psych record, his new album Into leaves behind the DIY lo-fi production and delivers a more polished psych pop album, still heavy on the dream-like feels.
Vinyl Williams’ new album is set for release on July 24 via Chaz Bundick’s (Toro Y Moi, Les Sins) Company Records. You can pre-order the record here and will include an instant download of Trance Zen Dental Spa, the collaborative EP between Vinyl Williams and Chaz Bundick.
Vinyl Williams is on tour with Unknown Mortal Orchestra this July and August. You can catch him at The Roxy on August 6.
