Watch Girlpool's new video for "Pretty"

It’s less than two minutes and looks like it was shot on an iPhone, but there is a humble beauty to Girlpool’s simple new video for “Pretty.” Directed by Allyssa Yohana, Harmony Tividad, and Cleo Tucker, the video has an eerie feel. The lulling tone of the song is complemented by the out of focus homemovie-like frames of the video.

Soft, stark and longing — the lofi lullaby is from Girlpool’s recent debut album, Before The World Was Big, out now via Wichita Recordings. Check out Girlpool’s new video for “Pretty” below.

Girlpool were recently welcomed back to Los Angeles where they played a spectacular set at FYF Fest. The duo recently expanded their Fall tour to include dates with Alex G, Joyce Manor, Eskimeaux and Told Slant. Girlpool will kick off in Boston on October 5 and will wrap up their tour run on November 14 in their current city of residence, Philly.
