Long Beach festival Music Tastes Good to feature The Specials, De La Soul, Warpaint and more

Long Beach is getting a very cool new music festival! Music Tastes Good has announced its lineup! The three-day festival presented by 89.9FM KCRW will take place September 23-25, 2016 on the streets of historic Downtown Long Beach.

From hip hop to alt rock, Latin indie and more — Music Tastes Good boast a diverse lineup fit to satisfy the likes of many. Performing at the first-time event will be The Specials, Iron & Wine, Sylvan Esso, Squeeze, De La Soul, Dr Dog, Warpaint, Gallant, Deltron 3030 w/ The 3030 Orchestra, Melvins, Twin Peaks, Girlpool, P.O.S., Living Colour, Cody Chestnutt, Open Mike Eagle, Rudy De Anda, The Dead Ships and many more!

Combining delicious sounds and flavors, Music Tastes Good will also feature delicious foods from local food vendors, chefs and artists. It’s a foodie / music lover’s salivating dream come true. Each day of the event will feature its own theme with music and food especially curated for that theme.

Music Tastes Good will kick off on Friday, September 23 with a block party full of high energy tunes complemented by craft beer and local vendors. Saturday will be the festival’s main attraction and will boast four stages that will take over Pine Ave. The festival’s closing Sunday will host a a Bloody Mary brunch and some vivacious tunes.

Three-day and single day tickets will go on sale this Friday, May 13th at 12PM. Three-day tickets are priced at $120 with VIP tickets at $240. VIP includes access to VIP areas, a swag bag and a farm-to-table dinner. Single day tickets range from $25-$75. View the daily lineups and ticket pricing per day below.

Long Beach locals will have the opportunity to purchase 3-day tickets at a discounted rate of $110 dollars at the Live After 5Fingerprints Music, and Summer and Music events hosted by the Downtown Long Beach Associates happening throughout the summer.
