Hide your beer and sandwiches, our favorite bad girls are headed to Silver Lake! Those Darlins have booked a show at the Satellite on Tuesday, April 19, 2011. The last two times we caught these ladies in LA (Hotel Cafe and Silverlake Lounge) they uninvitedly took bites out of peoples’ sandwiches while spraying beer from their mouths as well as burpin’ up a storm, and we loved every bit of their I-don’t-give-a-fuck shenanigans. Aside from being total cuties, these wild ladies (and gent) will charm you with their raw country-garage rock. With honest and comical lyrics about eating a whole chicken while drunk or songs that warn potential suitors of their “wild” tendencies, Those Darlins are always a damn good time!
The girls just released their new 7″ today, Be Your Bro and it’s pretty rad. The single features its title track and “Let U Down.” Both songs are featured on their forthcoming album, Screws Get Loose, coming at you on March 29. DO NOT miss Those Darlins’ show at the Satellite on Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Tickets are only $12 and open to those 21-and-over.
