Check it out yo, Los Angeles up-and-coming garage/punk kings have sliced open a brand new video for your viewing pleasure. FIDLAR have just premiered the video for “Wake Bake Skate”off of their DIYDUI EP via White Iris.
It brings you back to those early 80s days of skate punk, just as the rest of Fidlar‘s music does. It’s hard, fast and loud and will make you want to mosh around with your fists up in the air. The video directed by David Black, with creative direction by, Brendan Donnelly (also did Ryan Adams’ “Talking Metal Before Halloween”) features the boys in a desert (somewhat of an Afghanistan setting) with draped clothing, soldiers, explosives and a grim reaper. All parties take part in a balls-to-the-wall session of sandboarding. Yeah, sandboarding. Check out the video below!
