Hot New Music: Crosses Release Second EP †† on January 24, 2012

Back in November, we put up a post about concert tickets for Crosses (also stylized as †††), Chino Moreno of Deftones’ side project with Far guitarist Shaun Lopez and Chuck Doom. Their upcoming Glass House show (one of only four West Coast tour dates) is going down Tuesday, Jan. 31 and it’s highly recommended that you get on it NOW (we’ll also be running a ticket give away this week). We described it as “panty-dropping music” and I’ve been walking around for weeks sin chonies.

Their first EP† (available as a free download here) blew me away when I got my paws on it. It’s sinfully rich melodies and haunting tones spark an undeniable sultriness, making it irresistible to listen to these five songs, over-and-over. Crosses recently shared a new song titled “Prurien†.” You can download the complete track here, or you can listen to each of the six song stems in the Soundcloud below. It’s actually quite the pop track with some lively electro beats and pulsating drums. While “Prurien†”is a nice little teaser to their second EP††, the wait for more Crosses is just about over. You can download Crosses follow-up EP on Tuesday, Jan. 24 via their Website.

Crosses will headline the Glass House in Pomona on Jan. 31, 2012. We’ll be giving away tickets to this show, so check back with Grimy Goods later this week for you chance to win a free pair.
