Purity Ring just played two outstanding sold-out shows at the Fonda Theatre in Hollywood and we were there on Tuesday for all their mystical beats. The Canadian duo composed of Megan James (vocals) and Corin Roddick (instrumentals), blew minds at this show, not only with their unique sound, but their stage presence and set-up is always quite enchanting.

Purity Ring came together in 2010 lacking familiarity to electronic music and yet within three years, they have successfully reeled fans in with their skills. Within this time frame, Purity Ring has released five singles from their debut album, Shrines, reaching number 32 on the US Charts and number two on the electronic albums category. Just like their debut album, their live show was incredible!

Supporting Purity Ring was the very talented, Jon Hopkins. As as special treat for fans, the first 175 people in line at the Fonda received a limited 12″ with Jon Hopkins’ “Breathe This Air” featuring Purity Ring and “Amenamy” (Jon Hopkins remix).
