Portland duos are headed to the Echoplex on Sunday, September 29. Headlining the show is The Helio Sequence, formed by Brandon Summers and Benjamin Weikel. Their fifth full-length album, Negotiations, was created entirely from scratch when their home studio got flooded. After finding a new home, they created a warm and colorful sound. The music was spontaneous, minimalist, varied and lyrically intelligent. Their new album is a testament to a brand new start and a great piece of work. Joining them are Menonmena.
Tickets are $17 – $19, doors open at 8:30pm, and the event is 18 and over. You can win a pair of tickets by entering the contest below!
