The summer concerts have started and one of our favorite spots to feel the sun, ocean breeze with incredible music is the Twilight Concerts at the Santa Monica Pier. Last night Yuna, a charismatic young singer from Malaysia, took over the stage and conquered the crowd with her soft vocals and soothing presence. Her music has dashes of pop and folk while her lyrics are directed to love and life. Yuna’s albums have been internationally successful, she is now producing her music in the U.S. and is taking over the indie market with her skills and charm as proven in the Twilight Concerts hosted by KCRW’s Anthony Valadez, with a massive crowd in attendance.
The ladies of King warmed up the night and made golden hour quite soulful with their R&B appeal.
Twilight Concerts are FREE and run through mid September. We highly recommend attending their shows! Bring a blanket for when the night falls and get a feel of summer in Santa Monica.
