Nothing beats a beautiful sound combined with a classic venue. The Orpheum Theater was SOLD OUT Saturday night and as the last of the seats were filled, Rhye hit the stage. Backed by the newly released album Blood, Milosh wasted no time claiming the mic and filling the air with his divine falsetto. Flowers, fairy lights, and potted plants outlined the stage around the ensemble, who were making waves of sound. All these years walking by the Orpheum wondering how to get inside – I never realized it would be for such a special night like this. In my experience, some of the most magical moments in live entertainment happen when the audience is instantly moved by the art — so much so that if you have a chance to disconnect yourself from the moment you can look around and see the overwhelmed engagement in the eyes of your peers. You know that feeling just as well as I do. It was my pleasure to sit and witness the beautiful sounds of Rhye.
