Finding tender moments out of confusing crossroads, Ai Bendr constructs a bittersweet love story in her new single “I Like You.” Luscious sounding and with a heavy, atmospheric tone, “I Like You” is a cascade of sound and emotion strung together by echoey vocals.
Although the song’s title might reflect a more positive love story, “I Like You” focuses on the push and pull of two people who are attracted to each other, but might not necessarily be good for each other.
The tension created between these two people is reflected in the song’s lyrics that are beautifully illustrated in the music video that accompanies “I Like You.” Bendr and dancer Jaxon Willard take center stage in the music video to interpret these emotions through dance and movement.

Australian born, Michigan raised, Bendr is now based in Los Angeles and eager to continue on her music journey.
“A lot of the lyrics in the songs are inspired by my desire to make this music thing happen,” she notes.
