Jenevieve 2022

Genre-bending artist Jenevieve returns with her sultry new single “2NLuv” featuring Benziboy. With an understated disco beat and pleasing electro indie sounds, “2NLuv” is a lush, thirst-quenching tune that indulges in sensual and romantic fantasy. Part of a major Rockstar Energy Drink activation, Jenevieve’s latest release is equal parts euphoric and pleading as she demands that her love be reciprocated. Jenevieve is also set to play a show this Sept. 15 at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery’s Masonic Lodge in support of artist Giveon on his Give or Take tour.

Silky smooth instrumentals, electronic sounds and other little elements all melt together in Jenevieve’s new track. Combining bedroom-eyed R&B with silky house rhythms, “2NLuv” shimmers like a disco ball and sets the stage for an epic night out where dancing is a must and finding love is the only goal for the evening. Never too rambunctious or slow, the single sways with an effortless groove making it perfect to vibe to whether you’re alone in your room, at the club or even at the roller rink. While the lyrics denote an individual searching for love, it’s never desperate, rather deep and longing.

The accompanying music video for the single features Jenevieve playfully dancing around an apartment and also features the energy drink Rockstar as “2NLuv” is the first single ever recorded in the Rockstar Energy Spotlight Studios, the beverage brand’s interactive, state-of-the-art mobile recording studio. Jenevieve’s new release coincides with the national Rockstar Energy Spotlight Tour, where a handful of breaking artists were chosen to record inside the mobile studio and then headline music events across the U.S.

Jenevieve recently released an extended version of her debut EP, Division Deluxe, back in April with four new tracks with features from rappers 2 Chainz and Ghostface Killah, a remix from lo-fi expert Lophiile, and a piano-trap interpretation of Phil Collins’ “Against All Odds.”

In addition to new music, collaborations and her show at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, Jenevieve plays a sold out show at the Fox Theater in Oakland on Sept. 18, also in support of Giveon’s tour.
