LUNA AURA is back with a volatile single in the form of “LOST IN THE FICTION,” the latest preview of her forthcoming new EP FICTION due out this fall. She will also be supporting Corey Taylor of Slipknot on his solo U.S. tour, including a hometown stop at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on October 5th. A detonation of brash and vociferous rock, the song thunders with all that makes LUNA AURA so thrilling to listen to.

In “LOST IN THE FICTION” the ever meteoric LUNA AURA turns her igneous pen inwards, tearing into her own roiling ego against the clamor of molten riffs and pulverizing drums. “Do you get off / On hearing yourself talk,” she questions on the song’s sizzling opening.

Just before the whole thing just spontaneously combusts into a head-banging fury she offers herself some scathing honesty: “Hate to be the one to tell you / You’re not who you think you are.” Yet rooted in every scourging lyric is a desire to burn away this illusion that’s created by our narcissism. Like a cleansing fire, LUNA AURA incinerates such that selfish fallacy, bringing the song to an ear-splitting and soul-igniting close.

Prior to “LOST IN THE FICTION,” she shared “MONEY BAGS,” a deliciously kinetic and biting anthem that sees LUNA AURA chewing up and spitting some male chump with electric coolness. She also has two killer EPs out: SWEET SENSATION, which boasts an infectiously jaunty title track, and her debut THREE CHEERS FOR THE AMERICAN BEAUTY. Some standouts include the smoldering and ecstatic “HONEY” and the shrieking sonics of “BABYDOLL.”
