Canadian Taylor Swift fans have a lot to be excited about today. The biggest pop star in the world, Taylor Swift, has added three new tour dates to the Canadian leg of The Eras Tour. Taylor Swift will perform on Dec. 6, 7, and 8, 2024, at the BC Place in Vancouver, B.C. The announcement arrived on Thursday morning via her social media. Ticket registration is now open.
Tickets go on sale Thursday, Nov. 9 at 3pm PST. Both standard general admission and VIP tickets will be available.
Fans who would like to get tickets to Swift’s new Canadian tour dates will need to register for tickets through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan portal. Registration is open now through Saturday, November 4, at 5PM PT. Please remember registration does not guarantee tickets, but it is the best way for you to have a chance at scoring tickets.
Similar to Swift’s first leg of her Eras Tour in North America, fans will receive the presale access code the evening or morning before tickets go on sale. Once you’ve registered and been verified, keep an eye out for an email on Wednesday, Nov. 8, confirming whether you’ve been selected to participate in the presale. If you are selected, you will also receive a text to the number used at registration with your personal access code.
Taylor Swift has broke Ticketmaster before so expect these three new tour dates to be a tough one to gain access for tickets.

The new tour dates announcement arrived just after Swift dropped “1989 (Taylor’s Version),”‘ the re-recoding of her fifth studio album from 2014. The album includes five new “from the vault tracks.”
Taylor Swift continues her Eras Tour on Nov. 9 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. From there, she will tour some of South America, Australia, Asia, Europe, The UK, parts of the U.S. and Canada. See the full list of Swift’s 2024 tour dates.

What Is Ticketmaster Verified Fan?
Ticketmaster Verified Fan is a quick registration process that helps filter out annoying scalpers in an effort to get more tickets into the hands of real fans who plan on using their tickets to attend the show as opposed to reselling them for an inflated price.
While Ticketmaster Verified Fan does not guarantee that every fan will get a ticket, it does attempt to make the ticket-buying experience fairer by making it harder for scalpers who use bots to have any success with buying tickets.
Unfortunately, Verified Fan still is not scalper-free as we constantly see resell tickets on sites like VividSeats and StubHub from tours that had Verified Fan Registration.
The best way to make sure scalpers are not getting their hands on high-demand shows is for artists to choose to take the same route as Robert Smith of The Cure and Pearl Jam. Banning the transfer of tickets and making sure there is no dynamic pricing is the best way an artist can ensure their fans are getting a 100 percent fair shot at scoring a ticket to a tour that will sell out.
Beware of Speculative Concert Ticket Listings
Please note: DO NOT buy your tickets from any online reseller before tickets have officially gone on sale! Many online resellers, similar to VividSeats and StubHub, will claim to have tickets to concerts before they go officially go on sale. But they don’t! These are called “speculative concert ticket listings.” These online resellers are banking on the fact that their bots and “staff” will be able to purchase a bunch of concert tickets to shows that are expected to sell out. Resellers double, triple, and sometimes quadruple the price because they know ride-or-die fans will pay any price to see their favorite bands, artists, and groups live on stage.
As mentioned above, the only time you should resort to resale tickets is when the show you want to attend is sold-out.
