Lightning in a Bottle will return in 2024 to the perpetually sunny Southern California desert this coming May! Entering its 20th year the festival is once again being presented by the same iconic memory-makers behind the iconic Do LaB of Coachella fame. This time around the lineup features the likes of Skrillex, James Blake, Bomba Estéreo, M.I.A., Fatboy Slim, Mura Masa, Aluna, Tycho, and more!

When and Where is Lightning in a Bottle?

Lightning in a Bottle 2024 will take place over Memorial Day Weekend between May 22-27th at Buena Vista Lake in Kern County, CA. Sure it might be remote — but if you’re going to drive into the desert — you couldn’t ask for a better destination than the outpost of music and art that emerges annually like a mirage along the shores of the lake.

When Do Tickets to Lightning in a Bottle Go On Sale?

Tickets to Lightning in a Bottle go on sale Wednesday, January 24th at 10am PST.

To access festival tickets you’ll need to register for the 2024 onsale by providing your name, email, and phone number. On the day passes are made available you’ll receive a direct link to purchase tickets via email or text.

How Much Are Tickets to Lightning in a Bottle?

Lightning in a Bottle offers several different types of passes with which to curate your experience at the festival. These include GA and VIP with 3-day and 5-day options.

General Admission (3-Day) $349 + Fees

The GA 3-day festival pass allows entry into Lightning in a Bottle from Friday, May 24th to Monday, May 27th. It also includes tent camping in the GA campgrounds: Sunrise, Sunset, and High Noon. Car and RV passes are also available and must be purchased separately if you’d like to camp with your vehicle!

General Admission (5-Day) $419 + Fees

A GA 5-day festival pass grants you entrance to Lightning in a Bottle from Wednesday, May 22nd to Monday, May 27th. You’ll also have access to those same GA campgrounds (Sunrise, Sunset, and High Noon) with the option to purchase car camping and RV passes.

VIP (3-Day) $649 + Fees

The VIP 3-day experience offers a host of other special amenities: backstage shaded lounges located at all three main stages, complete with water & phone charging stations, exclusive bars & food vendors, premium air-conditioned restrooms; access to an elevated viewing platform at the Lightning stage as well as the Atlaswyld Beach Club & Bar; and pop-up interactive experiences.

VIP (5-Day) $779 + Fees

The VIP 5-day pass boasts all the same perks as the 3-day pass: backstage lounges fully loaded with amenities, exclusive bars & food vendors, air-conditioned restrooms, access to elevated viewing platforms, the Atlaswyld Beach Club & Bar, and more!
