Life is Beautiful has announced its updated festival, which is now titled A Big Beautiful Block Party. The two-day music event will take place in downtown Las Vegas from September 27 to 28 and promises no overlapping sets. This is great news for festival-goers tired of set-time collisions and running from stage to stage just to fit all their favorites in.

A Big Beautiful Block Party will feature performances by Justice, Peggy Gou, LCD Soundsystem, Jamie XX, Jungle, Thundercat, James Blake, Toro Y Moi, LP Giobbi, Empress Of, and more.

General admission tickets start at $199 and go up to $289. VIP tickets start at $399 and currently go up to $499.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday, June 27, at 10 AM PT. A presale will begin an hour before that at 9 AM PT. Those who would like to receive presale tickets can sign up to receive the presale code.

What Changed at Life Is Beautiful?

Aside from the name change and sizing down the festival to two nights of live music as opposed to three, a lot has changed, but the vibes are still the same.

Performances will start each evening at 5 PM and continue until 2 AM, with sets happening one after the other. Previously, Life Is Beautiful spanned 18 city blocks in the downtown Las Vegas Arts District. However, this year’s revised festival is taking place at a smaller site on the other side of downtown’s Fremont Street Experience, just a five-minute walk from the Arts District.

According to Billboard, the event is now wholly owned by Rolling Stone, which is owned by Billboard‘s parent company, Penske Media Corporation.

A Big Beautiful Block Party also happens on the same days as San Francisco’s Portola festival, also featuring performances by Justice, LP Giobbi, Empress Of, Neil Frances, and Jamie xx.

Gus Wenner, CEO of Rolling Stone says “seeing how well people responded to Portola was was a really good sign for us. it’s something they’re excited about.”
