Palestinian-Chilean singer Elyanna joined Coldplay on stage during their headline set at Glastonbury for a meaningful version of their upcoming single ‘We Pray’ off Coldplay’s forthcoming album Moon Music. Watch the video below.
The new Coldplay song features Burna Boy, Little Simz and Elyanna. All three performed with the beloved band at Glastonbury.
With the urgent lyrics, “we pray that we make it until the end of the day,” Elyanna’s voice shines in the most powerful ways. Considering the horrific genocide happening in Palestine at the hands of Israel with the support of their U.S. and UK allies, Coldplay appears to be making a bold and necessary statement with their stunning duet with Elyanna.
Top top it off, Elyanna also performed with Coldplay on a second unreleased song “Arabesque” which also features Femi Kuti. Elyanna performed a gorgeous verse in Arabic.
Also, during Coldplay’s memorable Glastonbury set, the band was joined by actor Michael J. Fox for a heartfelt performance of “Fix You.” Fox is seen shredding on the guitar while in his wheelchair.
Today, Coldplay released their new song “feelslikeimfallinginlove,” accompanied by an official video.
