Jane’s Addiction has canceled the remaining dates of their reunion tour. Band members Dave Navarro, Eric Avery, and Stephen Perkins shared the news in a collaborative Instagram post today. The band members shared the following statement:
Due to a continuing pattern of behavior and the mental health difficulties of our singer Perry Farrell, we have come to the conclusion that we have no choice but to discontinue the current US tour.
Our concern for his personal health and safety as well as our own has left us no alternative. We hope that he will find the help he needs.
We deeply regret that we are not able to come through for all our fans who have already bought tickets. We can see no solution that would either ensure a safe environment on stage or reliably allow us to deliver a great performance on a nightly basis.
Our hearts are broken.
Dave, Eric and Stephen
Consequentially, Love and Rockets had to cancel their remaining tour dates as the band was touring with Jane’s Addiction. The band shared on their Instagram:
“Hi all! We would have loved to have completed the rest of the dates on the tour with Jane’s Addiction but unfortunately the matter is out of our hands. Information regarding refunds will follow shortly.
With Love,”

The news arrives after lead singer Perry Farrell pushed and threw a punch at bandmate and guitarist Dave Navarro during Jane’s Addiciton’s performance on Friday, September 13th, at the Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston.
On Sunday, September 15th, Jane’s Addiction issued an apology to their fans via their Instagram Stories. “We want to extend a heartfelt apology to our fans for the events that unfolded last night.” The band also announced they would be canceling their Sept. 15th show in Bridgeport.
Fans who attended recent Jane’s Addiction reunion shows were quick to chime in with their own opinions.

One fan at the Boston show shared: “Perry was totally loaded, which caused him to be off time much of the night. He missed numerous cues and lines during multiple songs, but the band gracefully and very professionally played around him and repeatedly gave him 2nd chances to get in time.”
A fan who attended Jane’s Addiction, New York show chimed in and stated: “Respectfully, I left the Tuesday NYC show early because it was too disturbing to watch Perry. He was wasted. (The band was great, btw.) Please get him the help he needs.”
A statement from Perry Farrell has yet to be issued.
