In her Instagram Stories, Olivia Dean called out Ticketmaster/Live Nation and AEG Presents for their “disgusting service” regarding the prices at which tickets to her shows are being sold on resale.
“The prices at which you’re allowing tickets to be re-sold is vile and completely against our wishes
live music should be affordable and accessible and we need to find a new way of making that possible. Live music should be affordable and accessible and we need to find a new way of making that possible.”Surprisingly, Ticketmaster responded in their Stories sharing that they will cap resale prices on their site at at face value.
“We support artists’ ability to set the terms of how their tickets are sold and resold. @oliviadeano, we will cap resale prices on our site at face value and hope other resale sites will follow.”

Meanwhile, Ticketmaster/Live Nation still aren’t quite reading the room …
Tickets to Olivia’s ‘The Art of Loving’ tour went on sale Friday and, of course, sold out in minutes, with fans all over social media and forums expressing disappointment in a system that enables ticket scalpers to resell at exorbitant prices.
Olivia Dean has two LA shows at Crypto .com Arena on July 14-15. That’s a big jump from her days of performing in small venues like the Echoplex.
