Norwegian artist Sassy 009 released her first new song of the year with “Someone.” Her debut album Dreamer+ will be released in just a few days’ time on January 16. Fans of glitch and hyperpop will want to add the new track to their rotation.
Sassy 009’s new offering, “Someone,” has some serious swagger. With her distorted vocals, the breakbeats swirl with 90s electronica, taking you back to that grimy warehouse rave in downtown LA (or for the young folk, the OG warehouse raves you’ll never experience).
Having joined Blood Orange on tour last fall, we’re hopeful that Sassy 009 will embark on a U.S. tour in 2026. Currently, Sassy 009 has tour dates scheduled for February in the UK and Europe.
