Brought together through A COLORS SHOW exclusive, Dominican-Italian artist YEИDRY and Belgian-Congolese artist Lous and the Yakuza team up to deliver their liquid smooth new track, ”Mascarade.” The smoking and soulful single is an immediate uplifter with sultry vocals and a tight rhythm, mixing perfectly the R&B sounds of Lous with the Latin pop beats of YEИDRY.
While the instrumentals are luscious and easy to get lost in, the lyrics run even deeper, calling on all of us to lay down our exterior selves to truly meet each other face to face sans influence, prejudice or assumption. With lyrics meant to disarm rather than inflame, ”Mascarade” is a straightforward call for humans to really take a look at each other.
“I can say that this song is about racism and most of all, prejudice. What I’m saying in the hook is ‘before you talk to me, take off your mask’ because I feel like all of us, myself included, sometimes have prejudice towards other people,” explains YEИDRY about the meaning of the song. Lous adds, “it’s about “being independent and in control of your own life.”

The resulting music video for A Colors Show captures these two women in their element, sporting sassy looks, playful glances and just genuinely enjoying what they do best.
