The 43-city The Maybe Man Tour will be the group’s first-ever arena tour around the U.S. As such, they will be performing at a number of stadiums including Madison Square Garden in New York City, Toyota Center in Houston, and Pechanga Arena in San Diego. They will also be performing at The Kia Forum in Los Angeles — which will be preceded by their appearance at KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball this December.

With the release of their fifth studio album The Maybe Man, trio AJR returns to soundtrack the life of their titular superhero with their most emotionally colossal record to date. Its twelve soaring and anthemic tracks — from “Yes I’m A Mess” and “The DJ is Crying For Help” to “God Is Really Real” — confront the tragedy and bliss that encompasses life. The album’s title track, “The Maybe Man” also comes with a staggeringly bittersweet music video that finds them wrestling with earnestly urgent questions of identity.

AJR said of the new album: “In your mid-to-late twenties, you start to think about your life. There’s endless potential, but it’s also scary because you don’t know who you’re going to be. This album examines that personal existential crisis and the prevalent question of, ‘Who am I?’ We’ve experienced a lot this past year and decided to write about all the serious issues you face as you get older in the most AJR-way we could.”

Tickets for AJR go on sale to the general public on Friday, November 17th at 9am local time.

An Official Platinum presale begins on Monday, November 13th at 7am PST / 10am EST.

What Is The AJR Presale Code?

Fans who want to purchase tickets for AJR via presales have a variety of options.

Official Platinum Presale

The Official Platinum presale starts on Monday, November 13th at 7am PST / 10am EST. You won’t need a presale code to participate in this AJR pr esale, but you should expect higher ticket prices. Get more details on Official Platinum tickets below.

Verizon Up Presale

Verizon will offer an exclusive presale through the customer loyalty program Verizon Up. Members will have access to purchase presale tickets for select shows beginning Monday, November 13th at 7am PST / 10am EST. Select an AJR tour date near you, next, select the “Verizon Up Presale Tickets” option and you will be asked to connect your account to unlock the presale. 

Artist Presale

The AJR artist presale begins Monday, November 13th at 7am PST / 10am EST. Once you’ve decided on your preferred AJR tour date, you’ll need to sign up to receive the presale code.

Live Nation Presale

What Are Official Platinum Tickets?

If you see expensive tickets that are not VIP packages, those are official platinum tickets. These tickets are offered well over standard ticket prices, which is unfair to fans. The Event Organizer(s) have priced these tickets according to their market value (aka dynamic pricing). In other words, ticket pricing can go up or down and usually goes up.

Official platinum tickets do not include VIP packages. The only positive thing about them is that they make buying floor or front-row tickets to a high-demand concert easy if you’re willing to shed the extra cash. They can sometimes be purchased during a presale without a presale code. Availability and pricing for official platinum tickets are subject to change based on demand.

Pro Tips When Buying Your Tickets

First, on the day of the presale or general onsale (whichever you prefer), login to your Ticketmaster account (go to my account or sign in located on the upper right corner of the page) 30 minutes ahead of the sale time. If you don’t have one, create one now.

Be sure to add your billing info (aka credit card info) before jumping into the digital queue for a quick check-out. Once the presale starts, remain in the digital queue. Only use one browser window because using multiple browsers or devices and multiple accounts with the same phone number can result in errors. Trust, it’s happened to us before! Don’t refresh your page, do be patient, don’t leave your page, do get those tickets!

What To Do If Tickets Are Sold Out?

If tickets sell out, your other option is to buy them via online resellers like VividSeats or StubHub. When all else fails, we prefer these resell options because both offer a 100% Guarantee. You can also purchase resale tickets through Ticketmaster’s resale program. Just search for the concert or event you want to attend, and see if any resale tickets are available. We recommend comparing the three options to determine which one works best for you.

Also, more standard tickets are often released in the weeks leading up to the show date. We’ve seen it with Oasis, Nine Inch Nails, BLACKPINK, and many more. These tickets are normally production release tickets and sideview/limited-view tickets. It’s a secret gatekept by many, but if you’re reading this, now you know.
