Dashboard Confessional will spend the fall months on a 28-city tour of the U.S. making stops at iconic venues across the trek. Tickets for the general public don’t go on sale until Friday, April 5th at 10am local time but fans can take advantage of a couple of presales that opened today. The tour kicks off in Asbury Park, NJ at Stone Pony Summer Stage with further stops at MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, The Met in Philadelphia, and The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Irving, TX. While in California the band will perform at SOMA in San Diego, the House of Blues in Anaheim, and the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. They are also scheduled to perform at both weekends of this year’s When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas, NV.

Dashboard Confessional, led by singer/songwriter and guitarist Chris Carrabba, has spent the last few years solidifying its legacy. In 2020 they released The Best Ones of The Best Ones, a roundup of re-recordings and greatest hits pulled from across their catalog. Two years later they returned with their ninth studio album All The Truth That I Can Tell, going on tour with Jimmy Eat World, Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness, and Counting Crows to celebrate. After performing at the first Las Vegas-based When We Were Young the band will make its return in the middle of its upcoming tour to give a special cover-to-cover performance of their fourth album Dusk and Summer. Special guests on the tour include BOYS LIKE GIRLS and Taylor Acorn.

When Do Dashboard Confessional Tickets Go On Sale?

Tickets for Dashboard Confessional go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 5th at 10am local time.

A Citi® Cardmember presale began Tuesday, April 2nd at 8am local time.

The Saints & Sailors presale went live Tuesday, April 2nd at 9am local time.

The Dashboard Confessional artist presale opens Wednesday, April 3rd at 10am local time.

What Is The Dashboard Confessional Presale Code?

Fans can get presale tickets to Dashboard Confessional using the below presales. If you see Official Platinum or VIP Package options available for your preferred tour date, remember that these tickets don’t require a presale code to purchase. The Citi® Cardmember and Saints & Sailors presales are both live!

Citi® Cardmember Presale

The Citi® Cardmember presale has begun! You will need a Citi card for this presale. Enter the first 6 digits of either your Citi credit card or Citibank Debit Card as the presale code once you’ve chosen a Dashboard Confessional tour date.

Saints & Sailors Presale

The Saints & Sailors presale has started! Head to the band’s official website to sign up for their Saints & Sailors fan club. Once you’ve joined you should receive information regarding the presale code so you can buy your tickets to Dashboard Confessional.

Artist Presale

The Dashboard Confessional artist presale opens on Wednesday, April 3rd at 10am local time. If you want to get presale access without joining the band’s fan club we recommend joining their mailing list and checking their Instagram on the day of the artist presale to get presale code access. What Are Official Platinum Tickets?

If you see expensive tickets that are not VIP packages, those are official platinum tickets. These tickets are offered well over standard ticket prices, which is unfair to fans. The Event Organizer(s) have priced these tickets according to their market value (aka dynamic pricing). In other words, ticket pricing can go up or down and usually goes up.

Official platinum tickets do not include VIP packages. The only positive thing about them is that they make buying floor or front-row tickets to a high-demand concert easy if you’re willing to shed the extra cash. They can sometimes be purchased during a presale without a presale code. Availability and pricing for official platinum tickets are subject to change based on demand.

Pro Tips When Buying Your Tickets

First, on the day of the presale or general onsale (whichever you prefer), login to your Ticketmaster account (go to my account or sign in located on the upper right corner of the page) 30 minutes ahead of the sale time. If you don’t have one, create one now.

Be sure to add your billing info (aka credit card info) before jumping into the digital queue for a quick check-out. Once the presale starts, remain in the digital queue. Only use one browser window because using multiple browsers or devices and multiple accounts with the same phone number can result in errors. Trust, it’s happened to us before! Don’t refresh your page, do be patient, don’t leave your page, do get those tickets!

What To Do If Tickets Are Sold Out?

If tickets sell out, your other option is to buy them via online resellers like VividSeats or StubHub. When all else fails, we prefer these resell options because both offer a 100% Guarantee. You can also purchase resale tickets through Ticketmaster’s resale program. Just search for the concert or event you want to attend, and see if any resale tickets are available. We recommend comparing the three options to determine which one works best for you.

Also, more standard tickets are often released in the weeks leading up to the show date. We’ve seen it with Oasis, Nine Inch Nails, BLACKPINK, and many more. These tickets are normally production release tickets and sideview/limited-view tickets. It’s a secret gatekept by many, but if you’re reading this, now you know.
