Can’t decide which show to go to this Friday? Tell your usual haunts to stuff it! Grab your friends and/or the hottie you’re trying to impress and head over to Secret Headquarters in Silver Lake! They’re showing Lisa Hanawalt’s latest art and the opening is Friday, Feb 5th from 8-10 p.m.
Lisa is the author of the hilarious and stunning comic book “I Want You” and she won an Ignatz-Award for her awesome mini “Stay Away From Other People.” Her comics and illustrations have been published in Vice Magazine (that officially makes her a DO!), McSweeney’s, The Believer, LA Weekly ad Arthur.
She’s here all the way from Brooklyn to knock your socks off, make your heart skip beats, and blow your mind. Like most art things, there will be drinks, so get yourself over there and check it out.
