Moses Sumney

Moses Sumney had a breakout 2015. He opened for St. Vincent and Erykah Badu at the Hollywood Bowl and his 7″ with Terrible Records was very well regarded. He also dropped in on Solange’s FYF Fest set.

Now, the singer-songwriter has released a new song “Everlasting Sigh” ahead of a series of festival dates, as well as a free show at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles on June 18. We caught him opening up for Hundred Waters awhile back and were mesmerized.

Sumney’s enchanting falsetto and awesome down-tempo live mixing is a sound to behold. On the new track, he mixes a variety of sounds including finger-snapping and clapping behind his incredible voice.
