Rockin’ Loud Since 2008

What We’re About

Grimy Goods is a Los Angeles-based music lifestyle blog dedicated to music discovery and the lifestyle that goes along with it. We feature the best up-and-coming artists while keeping readers informed on the latest concert and music festival announcements and music news.

Founded in 2008 by Sandra Burciaga Olinger, a first-generation Latina-American — Grimy Goods connects music lovers and industry professionals with lesser-known artists within the indie and underground music communities — focusing on Women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ.

What We Do

Through our editorial and social media content, and live events — Grimy Goods helps artists get discovered and paid for their work, as well as cross into the mainstream. Our love for celebrating music culture keeps our readers informed on relevant news, upcoming concerts, music festivals, events and more. We love providing our readers with plenty of giveaways; because let’s be real, attending concerts and music festivals is a luxury and it gets expensive real quick. Live music should be a gift for all to experience.

Why You Should Trust Grimy Goods

Unlike most corporate media outlets that try to bank on the concert ticketing industry, Grimy Goods is a fans-first, independent music blog that has been rockin’ loud since 2008. We are a community of music fans who exclusively create helpful presale ticket content and new music discovery features for real music lovers (meet our staff). All those other corpo and copycat sites just want your money. That’s why they often push readers to purchase tickets through third-party resale ticket sites even before the official tickets have sold out. And that’s not cool; that’s predatory. While Grimy Goods is an affiliate with Ticketmaster and even VividSeats and Stubhub, we believe in honesty and directing our readers to get their concert tickets through the artist/band’s primary ticket provider. (i.e. Ticketmaster, AXS, Dice, etc). Major media outlets will push you to VividSeats and other third-party sites because the commissions are bigger there. You should only resort to third-party resales when tickets have officially sold out and you have no other options.
