They split up back in 74′ but came back with that same intense rawness some 30 years later.  Check out Iggy & the Stooges’ new DVD “Escaped Maniacs.” The DVD in not only rare and monumental, but embodies the return of Iggy & the Stooges.

The performance was recorded at Belgium’s Lokerse Festival in August 2005 on a special double DVD and audio CD. It includes rippin’ tunes “I wanna be your dog” and “TV Eye” as well as the then newbies, “Skull Ring” and “Dead Rock Star,” and some more good shit.  They shred just as hard as they did back in the early 70’s, minus the vomiting on fans and self mutilation.  The goods drop July 15 so check it out!
