When I first read NME’s headline for this “yoga and music” festival I was like WHAT THE FUCK! Really? A yoga and music festival? That’s totally not of the norm and gave me a good laugh, but hey I like things not of the norm and I like me some yoga.
Check it out: Spoon, Jenny Lewis, Girl Talk, Broken Social Scene, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Andrew Bird, Gillian Welch, Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings, Rogue Wave, Amanda Palmer, Mates of State and more are all set to play Wanderlust — a three-day event taking place July 24-26 at the beautiful Squaw Valley in Lake Tahoe. It all starts with yoga in the day, followed by a scenic cable car up the mountain to catch the live sets. Sounds pretty fuckin’ sweet if you ask me.
Since there’s a series of late night DJ parties, I take it everyone will be sweating their morning hangovers off as one? Ohmmmmmmm . . . Watch out for me and my girls, we’ll be wearing some tight 80’s Jane Fonda Workout attire! On yeeeeah, game on!
FYI: For all you guys lookin’ to perv, I’m sure there will be tons of hot flexible chics at Wanderlust. It’s not everyday you see a fatty doing a proper downward dog.
