SCANNERS to Release Sophmore Album “Submarine” February 2010

Sweet London indie pop that’s 50 percent fem! Looks like the SCANNERS are set to release their sophomore album in February of 2010 through Dim Mak. With two chicks up in the mix, Sarah Daly fronting the vocals while handling the bass and violin, they also have hot female guitarist, Amina Bates, who also pounds out the keys. And we musn’t forget the dashing blokes, Matt Mole on guitar and synths, alongside Tom Hutt rolling out the drums.

Their new album “Submarine” which was produced by Stephen Hague (New Order, Pet Shop Boys) is an impressive follow-up from the UK foursome, spearheaded by the eerily melodic first single “Salvation” with dark wave harmonies that overlay a haunting melody. The single is accompanied with stellar remixes by Don Diablo, Tittsworth, Dan Sena, Dirty Disco Youth and the band themselves.
