It’s been so long, I almost forgot about these dance-a-licious indie rockers from Vancouver. Well enough is enough, Hot Hot Heat won’t be denying us of their tantalizing sound any longer. Front-man Steve Bays delivers his sincerest apologies: “The band and I would like to offer our most sincere apologies for taking so long to finish our most recent recording,” Bays wrote on the bands Web site.
Taking a more D.I.Y. direction, the band has built their own studio (Tugboat Place), taught themselves how to engineer and spent months into the wee hours to bring us some “way weirder” goods.
