The Black Keys to Play the NASA Ames Research Center on April 10th!

My favorite duo, The Black Keys are set to play a special music festival at the NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, Calif. in celebration of Yuri’s Night, an international celebration of the orbital flight of cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, the first human in space, on April 12, 1961. It’s a global celebration of human space achievement, designed to raise awareness and support for space exploration.

Them NASA nerds better get ready for The Black Keys! As always, I’m sure it’s going to be a loud ass show, with Dan Auerbach blowing through a couple amps and fuzzrockin’ the shit out of our ears where the aliens above will feel the sound waves and join us for a proper rock show!

It all goes down April 10, 2010 from noon to midnight with performance by The Black Keys, N.E.R.D, Les Claypool, Common, Glitch Mob, and DJ Qbert.

Stay tuned for ticket info!
