The Cribs have been forced to cancel their original slot at Coachella due to volcanic ash! WTF? Apparently there was some gnarly volcano in Iceland that has left the UK in a crazy haze of ash. According the the BBC , “A number of UK artists are amongst those grounded by the closure of UK airspace (15 April) following a Volcanic eruption in Iceland.”
Wakefield band The Cribs, Cardiff-based group Los Campesinos! and Selkirk’s Frightened Rabbit all have appearances at this weekend’s Coachella! But they might not be able to fly out. 🙁
