Deer Tick is playing the El Rey Theatre this Tuesday, October 19, 2010 with J Roddy Walston & the Business! If you’re into some dope blues-rockin’ folk tunes, Deer Tick is a must see! Front-man John McCauley has this distinct scratchy voice that sounds like some sweet downhome-blues-in-a-barn-kind-of-style. Pair that with the band’s soaring orchestrations, Deer Tick will put on an intense show that will take you to another place (perhaps a barn). Oh, and don’t miss the opener J Roddy Walston & the Business, they’re pretty damn cool and will get your body movin’ with their jangly tunes.
