Hot Show Alert: Nicole Atkins and The Black Sea with Cotton Jones at The Troubadour

You won’t want to miss this show if you know what’s good for you! As we mentioned back in November, Nicole Atkins and The Black Sea will be playing the Troubadour on February 16 with Cotton Jones! Both bands made some big waves in 2010 either through tour support or a great new album. Read more about them below.

ABOUT THE BANDS:

Nicole Atkins and The Black Sea: We totally dug them this past September as one of the opening acts for Grimy Goods all-time fav, The Black Keys. Not only is she one hot chick, but she has some big soulful blues-rockin’ vocals and her band the Black Sea can hold it down proper. Her new album Mondo Amore will be released Jan 25 via Razor & Tie.

Cotton Jones: These sweethearts from Maryland bring back those sweet old school pop-melodies but with a comforting downhome vibe. Cotton Jones latest release (and sophomore album), Tall Hours In The Glowstream is absolutely delicious: totally sweet and adorable. From soft vocals and lulling melodies all the way to their touching lyrics, you’ll dig their classic sound.
