The Black Keys and Vampire Weekend Battle it Out on the Colbert Report: The Sell Out Challenge
From commercials for Zales, Victoria’ Secret, Sony Erickson and many more (even a commercial for Lifetime), the Black Keys) have definitely sold-out. Or as Stephen Colbert likes to say, “whored out their music.” Regardless, they’re still one of our favorite bands ever, even if a bunch of jocks and douches are now assimilating with their music. On a recent episode of the “Colbert Report,” the Black Keys duke it out with Vampire Weekend on a 2010 sell-out challlenge (winning spot for the GRAMMYS best alternative album).
