Well isn’t this a clever showcase. It looks like Mumford and Sons, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and the Old Crow Medicine Show will be rolling through San Pedro on April 22, 2011. And when I say “rolling through” I mean that literally! The band will be performing as part of the Railroad Revival Tour. Traveling exclusively in vintage railcars, the three bands will journey across the American Southwest over the course of a week. Considering boys all loved electronic railroads and Thomas the Train in their youth, these guys must be pretty stoked on this tour.
Los Angeles! You can catch the Railroad Revival tour when it makes its stop at Ports O’ Call Village in San Pedro on Friday, April 22. Ticket will go on sale this Wednesday, March 9 at 9 a.m PST. Tickets are $50-$150 and available exclusively through http://railroadrevivaltour.com Each ticket will include an MP3 download of live recordings from the tour as well as a commemorative ticket custom-designed for each site, with no additional service fees.
There will be a band presale on Tuesday March 8 at 9 a.m. PST. I suggest you sign up for the performing bands’ mailing list and the Railroad Revival’s to ensure you get the presale password!
