For those of you that spent hundreds of dollars scalping tickets to LCD Soundsystem’s farewell show at Madison Square Garden (MSG) on April 2, 2011, James Murphy and his crew just announced on their Web site the release of 1,500 additional tickets! According to LCD, they “moved some staging stuff and removed some big cameras, etc.” in order to create more ample viewing space. The new tickets are a mix of general admission pit, restricted view, and seated. Tickets will go on sale TODAY at 10 a.m. EST via Ticketmaster! There is a two ticket limit per person.

To avoid the dreadful scalpers, these new tickets will not be hard tickets. The only way to enter MSG on April 2 with these new tickets will be to show i.d. MATCHING THE CARD DETAILS USED TO PURCHASE at will call and then immediately enter the venue.
