Mogwai Cancels Five U.S. Tour Dates Due to Visa Issues

It looks like Mogwai will have to stay a little longer in Glasgow before they can embark on their U.S. tour. According to their Web site the band had to cancel five of their upcoming East Coast tour dates. They all will be postponed to sometime in October. But don’t worry Los Angeles, we still get to see Mogwai on May 10 at the Mayan Theatre. Be sure to buy your tickets before they sell out!

From Mogwai:

We regret to inform you that due to an unforeseen delay in their visa processing, Mogwai must postpone these shows:

April 19 Washington, DC 9:30 Club
April 20 Philadelphia, PA Starlight Ballroom
April 21 New York, NY Webster Hall
…April 22 New York, NY Webster Hall

Shitty! At least it wont affect our show date at the Mayan. WOO HOO! I just hope it wont be like last time they played LA. Stupid hipsters every where and people on their phones gabbing. Mogwai is a band meant to be seen without these types of distractions. If you LA “people” are going JUST to go to a show, and NOT because you love Mogwai then just stay home or shut the fuck up so us true fans can enjoy it.

    Thanks GG!
