If you’re a Los Angeles based musician or band (or within 50 miles of L.A.), this is an awesome opportunity you don’t want to pass up! Grimy Goods is working together with Sonicbids, Live Nation and House of Blues to find some of L.A.’s best up-and-coming musical acts for a shot at playing three House of Blues venues (Los Angeles, San Diego and Las Vegas).
Presented by Live Nation, the House of Blues New Music Nights will give up-and-coming bands the opportunity for some big exposure in three different markets including their own. L.A. bands can submit for the opportunity to play the House of Blues on Sunset. Grimy Goods will be reviewing hundreds of submissions and choosing three lucky musical acts to play the House of Blues on Sunset. From there, the three winning acts will then have a chance to play both the House of Blues in Las Vegas and San Diego. But you will be up against three other hot bands from San Diego and three more from Las Vegas in a fan-driven campaign. We’re taking submissions until Friday, April 29, 2011 at 11:59pm EST. The three winning bands will be chosen in May and set up to play the House of Blues on Sunset sometime this summer.
This is a huge opportunity with endless possibilities and is expected to roll out to other regions in the coming months. Get ready for mass exposure.
