This by far, is one of our top show picks of the week. If you have yet to listen to either band, Wildbirds & Peacedrums, and Therapies Son, you really need to cop some of their music. We fell in love with Wildbirds & Peacedrums after listening to their gorgeous album, “Rivers.” The Swedish husband and wife duo exude a mix of mysterious and dark, simple yet beautifully executed tunes. Complementing the duo immensely is Therapies Son (aka Alex Jacob). The 19-year-old L.A. native creates a splendid mix of hearty, jangly atmospheric pop tunes sure to bring a smile to any one’s face.
Tickets to Wildbrids & Peacedrums with Therapies Son this Wednesday at the Satellite are $10 and open to those 21-and-over! Doors are at 8:30pm and Therapies Son hits the stage at 9pm. Thanks to our friends at the Satellite we have some tickets to give away to this great show!
