Contest: Win Tickets to Peter Hook & The Light perform Joy Division’s “Closer” at the Music Box (Sept. 14, 2011)

Joy Division and New Order bassist Peter Hook and his new band The Light are set to perform Joy Division’s classic and final studio album, “Closer” at the Music Box on Wednesday, Sept. 14.  Both an honoring of late singer Ian Curtis and the music of Joy Division this is bound to be a night to remember. With support from loop n’ pedal masters El Ten Eleven and LA institution DJ Paul V, it’s a lineup that guarantees an amazing night of music and dance. Tickets to the show are $22 plus service fees, doors are at 8 p.m., show starts at 9 p.m. and it’s an all ages show. Thanks to our friends at Goldenvoice we have tickets to giveaway!

You must have a Twitter or Facebook to enter the contest. First make sure you’re following Grimy Goods on Twitter here and/or “like” our Facebook page here. We’ll pick winners at random by Monday, Sept. 12.  The winners will be direct messaged on Twitter or contacted below their contest entry comment on the Grimy Goods Facebook page. Winners will have until noon Tuesday, Sept. 13 to claim their win or the tickets will be forfeited. To increase your chances, enter the contest both ways!
