Contest: Win Tickets to Macadâmes at the Luckman Fine Arts Complex (Sept. 17, 2011)

There are a lot of spectacular concerts and theatrical presentations going on this year (and 2012) at the Luckman Fine Arts Complex and it all kicks off this Saturday, Sept. 17. with the French theatre collective, Macadâmes. Using elements of mime, clowning, acrobatics, object manipulation, theatre, music, and dance the group presents Chaussée Interdite Aux Piétons. This creation refers to the musicality of movement, the embodiment of sound, the chill of tragedy, and the sentiments of love; all delivered in an entirely universal physical language and movement vocabulary that is easily understood by everyone. Tickets to the show are $32.50 (including service fees) but thanks to the Luckman we have some free tickets to give away to this one-of-a-kind performance.
