Equipped with foliage covered instruments and a backdrop of vibrant flowers and puffy light-up clouds, Mates of State stopped by the El Rey to promote the release of their seventh album, Mountaintops.
The husband/wife duo are practically indie-pop legends with their infectious harmonies and unique organ and drum arrangements. Their songs deliver bursts of joyful energy and their live performance last Tuesday did the very same.
