Featuring ANTIBALAS founder Martin Perna and Adrian Quesada of GRUPO FANTASMA, the duo draws from their previous musical roots yet also now takes a more intimate, psychedelic and experimental fueled direction. They brought a spicy dance party to the lightly packed Satellite dance floor. Fusing Latin rhythms, hip hop and Afrobeat — Ocote’s music is fun, exotic and sexy.
The duo’s musical family spanning from Austin TX to New York to Washington DC to Sao Paulo Brazil features special guests: John Speice, Eddie Torres, Marcos García, Jason Murdy, Joshua Levy, Joseph Woullard, Courtney Morris, Todd Simon, Tita Lima, Victor Axelrod, and Chico Mann. With an all star line-up like that, you best believe they bring all that wordly flavor!
