You asked for my favorite memory, and while it’s hard to ignore TVOTR on the Cookie Mountain tour, MMJ on a couple occasions, The Raconteurs, Turbonegro and so many more, I think mine has to be the Queens of the Stone Age benefit show for Natasha Shneider, which featured PJ Harvey, Tenacious D, Matt Cameron, Chris Goss, Brody Dalle and Boots Electric himself, Jesse Hughes. It was an emotionally cathartic night, spanning the history of both QOTSA and the Desert Sessions recordings, and I felt really lucky to have been there.
