Sonic Youth, founding member and general guitar genius, Lee Ranaldo (composer/visual artist/writer ect.) is bringing his dizzingly poetic side project to Silverlake’s Satellite, on Tuesday, April 10th. What John Lennon’s solo albums were to the Beatles, so is Lee Ranaldo to Sonic Youth. Keeping the same noise science undertone and laying on top some tragically hopeful lyrics, if you haven’t heard him go do that, now. Folky punk infused with the same grimy noise rock we love. A true gem and pioneer of music, its a show not to be missed.
Tickets for the 21-and-over show are $15! Doors open at 8:30 pm and the show starts at 9 pm with opening act, Lady Noise. Grimy Goods wants to hook you up with free tickets to the show, so enter the contest below for you chance to win!
