Amanda Palmer & The Grand Theft Orchestra unleashed the new “Want It Back” music video today, offering another taste from her new album, Theatre is Evil, to be released September 11 on Palmer’s own 8ft. records. The video is a stop-motion animated video created with Australian director Jim Batt, and shot in Melbourne when Palmer and her band were recording the new album this past spring. The video continues a strong visual art theme, incorporating her naked body as a canvas for hand-painted lyrics to unfold across the screen.

Amanda Palmer & The Grand Theft Orchestra will headline the Fonda Theatre on Aug. 25. A limited amount of tickets will be available to fans starting July 9 @www.amandapalmer.net. Tickets will be on sale to the general public on Friday, July 13.
